Our Core Beliefs
*We believe that everyone has a spark of light and magic inside of them just waiting to be acknowledged and nurtured.
*We believe that self care should be normalized and prioritized and is not a selfish act.
*We believe that everyone has the right to heal and feel safe and comfortable in who they are or becoming.
*We believe our darkness does not define us. It teaches and empowers us to shine our light authentically and responsibly.
*We believe you can heal from unhealthy thought patterns and trauma. Once you acknowledge this, you begin to heal yourself and the world!
Why We Believe
We know what it is like to feel overwhelmed by day to day life. Our lives have been marked by many burnouts, codependent relationships and even wild acts of self sabotage. After years of struggling we had our AHA moment! We realized that somehow we never learned truly healthy ways of coping with emotions. Whether that was through society, well intentioned parenting or subconscious influences, we learned to be self critical and doubt ourselves. We chased dreams that didn’t resonate with our spirits or sought escapism rather than true introspection. We looked outward for fulfillment instead of inward. This resulted in a lot of anxiety and drama.
We Sunkissed Lunatics are striving to be more than just our products. We are in no way completely healed nor have we reached some form of zenith enlightenment. We are healing and growing everyday. Our company reflects what we have learned/are learning from others and ourselves. We want to share, learn and grow with you as well as contribute to the collective healing of our minds and spirits. The path to healing ourselves can be tough, especially when a lot of us have never been exposed to these ideas, or have been trapped in unhealthy patterns. After years of not believing, we believe in ourselves!
Believing Higher
We believe we all come from an incredible, beautiful source of love and energy. We refer to this essence by many names. God, Source, Divine, Creator, Lord, Light, Love, Gaia. We are thankful for our existence and to be guided by love. We are a spiritual duo but are in no way here to tell you what to believe. Everyone has the right to follow their own belief system, and march to the beat of their own drum! We encourage tolerance of all spiritual practices, religious and political beliefs, ethnicities, genders, sexual affiliations, backgrounds,etc.
Believing In Magic and Science
We believe in the incredible power of our planet and its natural resources. It is important we respect these incredible sources of divine energy, and work our magic with them. The sun provides warmth and life giving energy. While the moon encourages us to go with the flow and that life goes through cycles. The two work in harmony to maintain life on earth. We believe that the Sun and Moon have different energetic properties. The Sun has an energizing effect, and the Moon a calming effect. Although this may vary if you resonate more with one or the other. In any case the two balance each other naturally and that is why we co create with both! You are the best of both worlds.
We only create our lunar waters on nights when the moon is full and solar water when the sun is bright. This ensures direct infusion of these luminaries in our sprays. ~
The Earth also provides us with spectacular healing resources. Our favorite is water. The human body is composed of over 60% of water. Water has spectacular properties and we believe it directly affects how we feel. It invigorates our minds and bodies and parches dry spirits. It is a healing and life sustaining element. We use purified water- from our personal distillery to amplify these properties.
We also believe in the healing and life sustaining properties of Earth. Earth supports life and growth. Earth is strong and regenerative. Crystals such as quartz contain many healing and purifying properties that can promote purity, healing and clarity. They can act as an amplifier to cleanse your space and strengthen intentions. It is important to work with the earth in our healing process, which will help heal the Earth as well.
Believing In The Future
It starts with all of us. A dream shared by many can become our reality. It is never too late to believe. We can undo the damage we’ve done to ourselves and our planet. It starts by being kind to ourselves so that kindness ripples out to our world. Respecting ourselves, each other and our shared planet. Consuming mindfully and cultivating peace within. No matter how dark your past or how imperfect you feel. YOU ARE MAGIC AND THE WORLD NEEDS YOU.. We must believe in each other and most of all believe in ourselves!
Meet the Sunkissed Lunatics
Sisters Kimmy and Kelly are the dynamic duo behind Sunkissed Lunatics, at Sunkissed Lunatics we want to encourage everyone to shine while allowing others to do the same! We all have something to share and learn.
Kimmy, CEO AND VISIONARY
Kimmy is both a lifetime learner and cosmic hippy, with a doctorate in metaphysics, and a passion for the Moon and Water. Kimmy dreams of creating something that connects all of her passions to contribute to a community of healing and peace!
Kimmy has a background in healthcare and understands the beauty and magic concerning life and death. She has witnessed people face extreme circumstances and fight physically for their lives. A positive outlook, faith and peer support are crucial in terms of survival. Kimmy believes in blending scientific and spiritual practices to heal the body, soul and planet. She is an incredible caregiver and possesses a huge heart that reaches far beyond her friends and family.
Kimmy is also an artist, dreamer, musician, writer and entrepreneur with incredible ethics and values. She loves working with her hands and radiates raw talent and a loving presence,
An ex codependent and current workaholic. She is currently working on being less of a perfectionist, and setting more boundaries to protect her energy. “Learning to recognize anxiety and work with it has been an amazing thing” She is overcoming her fear of public speaking and becoming the person she has always been, not the version she was told to be!
Making moon/sun water is so healing. I know this is just the beginning of Sunkissed Lunatics. Thank you for allowing me to share my vision with you. <3

Kelly, CO-FOUND AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
“The struggle is totally real, you can hide in the dark but the light will find you… ready or not!!
Kelly is our resident wild child. She is a self confessed weirdo with a passion for creative manipulation, lyrical poetry, interesting aesthetics and offbeat fashion. She is skilled at organizing chaos and infusing life with a sense of meaning and humor. A rebel at heart with a service oriented background, Kelly finds joy in helping others even though it took her long enough to help herself 🙂 As a recovering addict and codependent, she understands what it feels like to struggle with self worth and accept the hard truths of our perceived darkside.
Kelly is currently working on her mental health and self esteem issues plagued by social anxiety and shyness. “I masked my shyness with alcohol for so long, I feel like an imposter now that I’m sober.
Making moon/sun water has been so therapeutic and healing. For me this is truly
a new kind of moonshine
This experience is allowing me to open up and feel more comfortable with who I am becoming, learning from my past instead of wallowing in it!”Kelly is also our master aromatherapist. She loves blending oils and aromas that awaken our senses and promote peace and wellbeing.
